A Leonberg : how we chose this race
we discovered the Leonberg in 1977 with a canine exposure in Nevers. This race was knowm little and little represented at that time. We liked all at his place,its general aspect, of an imposing size, without heaviness, flexible in its displacements, its glance soft and frank, this pretty color of dress, without forgetting its character, really we cracked !
Since, several Léonberg shared our life. With our children, the léo
was a true nanny, is soft and patient: we granted our confidence to
him and it never disappointed us.

until 1994, we had that males léonbergs at the house; it is at the time of a friendly visit to the breeding du Chemin des Ecoliers that small the Jean, with his malicious glance conquered us!
In 2000 of the marriage of Jean du Chemin des Ecoliers with Mikado des Genevriers de la Férande, 5 babies were born; we kept Reisha (on th eleft on the photograph).

Léonberg likes to be with its Master, it is large sensitive! it doesnot like loneliness and does not support the chain... At the house it can be done very discrete; It is an excellent companion for the children!
In spite of its imposing size, he is a sportsman and will with pleasure follow you in the long ones stroll!
